Mitsubishi Thermostat Adapter Interface PAC-US444CN-1 for Mitsubishi Electric BACnet and Modbus Interface

With the PAC-US444CN-1 thermostat interface, you can now use a third-party thermostat to control your Mitsubishi Electric indoor units. This interface offers 3 input terminals for fan speed control: Auto, Medium, High, and custom auto. Through its CN105 connector, the Thermostat Interface allows HVAC thermostats and input/output controllers to manage residential or commercial indoor units. It is compatible with indoor units that can be controlled by the MHK1 controller model. Please note that this interface is designed for use with conventional systems, not for heat pump control. The required minimum terminals for compatibility are R, C, G, W1, Y1, while the preferred terminals are R, C, G, W1, W2, Y1, Y2.

Line Voltage Thermostats are not suitable for use with the PAC-US444CN-1 interface. It is compatible with nearly all current indoor units offered by Mitsubishi Electric US. Each thermostat interface can be connected to a single third-party thermostat to control one indoor unit, including for MXZ multi-zone systems. The PAC-US444CN-1 is also compatible with the PAC-SE41TS Remote Temperature sensor and MAC-331F. However, it does not support M-Net & MA Control, and a 12 VDC power supply is required for MAC-33IF.

Please remember that the PAC-US444CN-1 is only compatible with Mitsubishi CITY-MULTI (Models after April 2012), M-Series, and P-Series Indoor Units. It has been tested to work with Nest, Honeywell, Lyric, and INNCOM thermostats that offer fan speed control. Each indoor unit requires one thermostat interface, and the interface provides 3 input terminals for fan speed control: High, Medium, and Low.
